Chicken Breast Karaage (Deep Fried Chicken) - I made healthy deep-fried chicken karaage using chicken breasts.
Use as much garlic and ginger as you want. I use grated garlic and ginger from a tube. You can also use chicken thigh meat.

- 1 kg Chicken breast meat
- 1/2 ☆Grated onion
- 3 tbsp ☆Soy sauce
- 3 tbsp ☆Sake
- 1 tsp ☆Sugar
- 1 tsp ☆Sesame oil
- 1 ☆Ginger (to taste)
- 1 ☆Garlic (to taste)
- 1 dash ☆Salt and pepper
- 1 tbsp ★Katakuriko
- 1 Blend of white flour and katakuriko (1:1 ratio)
Steps / How to Make
Cut the chicken breasts into large bite-sized pieces.
Combine the meat and ☆ ingredients, then sprinkle in the ★ katakuriko. Let rest for 2 hours.
Right before deep-frying, coat each piece of chicken with flour and katakuriko combined in a 1:1 ratio.
