Ingredients
- 2 cups maida / all-purpose flour
- 1/4 tsp Baking Soda
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- To taste Salt
- 2 tsp Sugar
- 4 tsp Oil
- 1/4 cup Curd
- Warm water-as required
- Butter-as needed
- 3 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tsp Black Sesame Seeds
Steps / How to Make
Take a bowl add maida, baking soda, baking powder, salt, sugar, 2 tsp oil and curd. Mix well.
Add warm water gradually to it and knead to a soft and smooth dough.
Apply 2 tsp oil on the dough. Cover with a lid and rest for 3 hours.
Make small size balls out of it. Roll it out into oval shape by dusting some flour on it. Wet it with little water on one side.
Place it on hot tawa, wet side down. Keep in medium flame.
Once you see bubbles on it, turn the tawa and show the flame to the other side of naan. When it's light brown colour take it off.
Serve by topping with some butter. Garnish with coriander leaves and sesame seeds.
Have it with paneer butter masala or chicken gravy or butter chicken or matar paneer.
