Candied Brussels Sprouts (Pressure Cooker & Air Fryer recipe) by The Salted Pepper
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 bags fresh or frozen Brussels sprouts about 2 lbs total
- 1 teaspoons sea salt
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh black Pepper
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons maple syrup
- 1/3 cup cooked bacon pieces
- 2 Tablespoons butter
Steps / How to Make
If using fresh brussels sprouts wash them and trim the ends and cut in halfIn a large skillet add olive oil, brussels sprouts, salt, pepper and garlic powder and mix up throughly. Cook on medium high heat stirring occasionally add in 2 tablespoons water if using fresh. Cook till Brussels sprouts are tender and lightly charred looking
Stir in brown sugar and bacon and drizzle on maple syrup and add butter and mix throughly
