Lasagna Recipe - Beef & Cheese Lasagna - Christmas Lasagna Recipe by Food Wishes

Ingredients

4-6 servings
  • 1 Small onion
  • 1 large can diced tomatoes
  • to taste Oregano
  • to taste Fresh (if possible) basil
  • to taste Parm cheese
  • to taste Mozerella cheese
  • 1/2 cup Beef broth or red wine
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 jar ricotta cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • as needed Lasagne noodles (not instant)
  • 2 lbs Ground beef about
  • 2-3 tbsp tomato paste
  • Maybe tomato sauce

Steps/How to Make

Mix egg with ricotta parsley and salt to taste. Put in Fridge


Fry onions on low heat until tiny and browned. Add garlic.


Soak noodles in hot water for 30 minutes


Add beef and brown. Drain oil if any.


Add tomato paste and red pepper flakes and garlic and cook for 2 more minutes.

Add wine/broth tomatoes, basil, oregano. Simmer for 15 minutes to 45 minutes.... Up to you. Might need to add some tomato sauce if it's too dry.


Assemble. Meat sauce, then noodles. Then ricotta, sprinkle mozerella, meat sauce, parm (option). Repeat 2x then top with meat sauce and moz and parm cheese.


Cover with tin foil and bake
