Another Mexican food which I started to like is tacos 🌮 My daughter and I often spend time together to eat some Mexican street tacos served in a taco truck close to our house. Either it’s fish, pork, chicken, or beef tacos. We ❤️ them all 😋😋😋

Mexican-Style TACOS from Scratch - Tacos Al Pastor | Guga Foods by Guga Foods

Ingredients

  • 700 gr beef skirt steak, diced 1x1 cm
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • Marinade sauce:
  • 1 tsp ground cumin
  • 1 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 Tbsp soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 tsp chili powder
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • Additional ingredients:
  • mini tortilla (can be corn tortilla or flour tortilla)
  • 1 red onion, small diced
  • 1 avocado, thinly sliced ​​(optional)
  • lime wedges
  • leaves coriander

Steps / How to Make

Mix beef with marinade sauce in a bowl. Stir well.

Place it in the refrigerator and let it rest for at least 1 hour.

Heat vegetable oil in a skillet.

Cook the beef together with the marinade sauce until browned and the marinade sauce reduced. Remove from the heat. Set aside.

Heat the tortillas. Arrange on a plate. Add beef, red onion, avocado and cilantro leaves. Squeeze some lime wedges.

Serve warm. Yum! 😋
