Ingredients
4 servings
- 400 grams roughly chopped white mushrooms
- 2 medium size finely chopped onions
- 1 cup crushed tomatoes
- 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 2 green chillies chopped
- 1 tbsp kasuri methi
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp garam masala
- 1 tsp cumin seeds
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 bay leaf
- 1 cinnamon stick
- 2 tbsp canola oil/cooking oil
- 1.5 cups water
- 4-5 tbsp table cream
Steps / How to Make
In a wok take oil. After oil is hot add cumin till it crackles. Add bay leaf and cinnamon stick.
Add onions and saute till translucent. Add ginger garlic paste and saute for a minute.
Now add crushed tomatoes and cook until the oil separates.
Add in all the spices and cook for a minute. Furthermore add mushrooms and mix well.
Add water, cover and cook until mushrooms are done.
Add cream and mix well. Turn off the stove.
Garnish with kasuri methi and serve hot with rotis.
